Aaron stared at the man kneeling before him. He swallowed. He
had thought he would marry the man he loved. He thought he would be married and
then get pregnant. His beliefs would not permit him to terminate his pregnancy
and he knew beyond a doubt that Ice wasn’t lying about his pregnancy. “Can we
get married? I mean legally.”
“Yes and no. We cannot have a proper ceremony with a proper
license, but I can fill out all the necessary paperwork to ensure that you and
our child will be taken care in case something happens. We could exchange vows
if you want to.”
Aaron nodded, “Alright, I’ll marry you, Ice. I would like to
exchange vows but not right now. I need some time to think.”
Ice cupped Aaron’s cheek and gently kissed him, “Take all the
time you need. There is no hurry.”
Aaron pulled away and walked into his bedroom. He sat down on
the bed and leaned against the wall. He rubbed his belly, “It’s just you and me
now, kid.” He couldn’t imagine what his wedding night would be like. In spite
of everything, Aaron still considered himself a virgin and his stomach knotted
with nervousness when he thought about actually touching Ice intimately. There
was just something about the man that did not invite such thoughts. It was like
thinking about one’s parents having sex. You knew they had done it at least
once, but still the thought of them still doing it…ick.
